Life is Good

Life is good here in Chelsea, Alabama. No longer just a sleepy bedroom community of Columbiana, we're booming - as evidenced by the new Dairy Queen and Taco Bell restaurants. It's not easy adjusting to such amenities. For example, this evening, Mrs. MNP, the three mohicans and myself stuffed ourselves with chicken casserole and then, still feeling as if we were missing something, loaded ourselves into the Red Truck and headed to the DQ. Undaunted by the wide array of menu choices such as banana splits and milkshakes, we went straight for the good stuff - two chocolate chip cookie dough blizzards and two chocolate cones dipped in chocolate. Yummy. So when that city life your living gets you down, just think of the DQ and remember, we've got it good in Chelsea.

2005 Football Results

MaxPreps.com has a summary of the 2005 results for CVA's football team. Be careful before you [click here] - it's not so pretty. To sum it up, the Rebels were outscored 348-56 enroute to a 1-9 record. The good news is the team scored in five of its 10 games. Better luck next year.

Initial Post

I hope you've been keeping up with CVA alumni through the home website...CVAalumni.com. This blog will enhance the website by allowing more interactivity. However, like the website, this will also be a learning experience.
